Jason Nelson lives in Ouray, Colorado.  Upon moving there in 2003, Jason has taken to establishing many new climbs, both ice and rock.  Jason felt the area needed a guidebook to keep track of the rapidly increasing number of new routes going in.  Since he ran a web design business (www.visualadventures.com), it seemed like a logical fit to take on the job.
